The average cost per person for the Iraq war at this point is $1600 / person and the estimated total (how you estimate what a war will cost if an exercise for the reader) is $3,415 (estimates from the US military). One could argue your also paying for it in higher gas prices too. Whenever people say "It's not the money, it's the principle" then ... it's the money! In this case, it's doubly true because no two people seem to agree what the principle was...
